What exactly is Plan V?

Plan V is "me", Vanessa! I've worked in hospitality all of my life, and absolutely love to support entrepreneurs and small businesses in their growth, and be that bit of resource that allows some breathing space for you to focus on the bigger picture. Because I have worked in so many areas of hospitality, I am confident at stepping in and making a difference quickly. I'm a resource that you can use for various business tasks that you might not have the budget for on a permanent basis. Or, you might have a project that needs completing, or a peak in business, and you just need an extra pair of hands to help get the work over the line. That's where Plan V slots in. I am a flexible cost within your head office budget, with varying time options to suit what you need.

How do I book with you?

First, we'll have a discovery call, you can book this via the "book now" page. Once I've understood what you need, along with the start date, I will provide a quote for you to review. If you're happy with the quote, or wish to make any amendments, we'll firm up the final details.

Can I see some examples of your work?

Absolutely! I am currently working on a portfolio which you'll be able to access, in the meantime I'm happy to provide examples of work specific to what you're interested in booking. Just ask and I will arrange this.

Can you come into the office?

As a general rule, I will be completing your work from home. This means I can provide you with the most effective use of my time. However, I do understand that sometimes an in-person visit works best, so we can discuss this on an individual basis. If you are local to Worcester (WR2) then I can be more flexible.

Question 5

How do the costs work?

Accepted Answer

I'll be working for you as a self employed freelancer. All you need to pay is my invoice (and I am not VAT registered), whereas with a contracted employee you'd be paying national insurance, tax, pension, holiday pay, training costs, equipment costs, and more - all on top of their salary. Plan V is a flexible way to keep your costs in budget, and tightly controlled, while still getting a dedicated, experienced and motivated extension of your team. I ask for invoices to be paid upfront, however I can add time on at an hourly rate if you decide that you need more.

Do you offer services to businesses outside of the UK?

Currently I only provide recruitment and HR support for UK based businesses, due to differing legislation. However I am happy to look at providing events and marketing support globally.
